Muzzle Training
Muzzle training can be beneficial for multiple reasons. Whether you want one because your dog is a bite risk, a scavenger, fearful, you want it for vet visits, or even if it’s just a precaution, muzzle training can be beneficial for all dogs. Multiple people will say “oh but my dog would never bite.” At the end of the day, all dogs could be pushed to the point of biting if put into that position. An example I like to think of is if they’re injured. Some dogs will resort to biting if they’re in an incredible amount of pain. It doesn’t help that a lot of muzzle companies’ sizing charts are not as accurate or useful, leaving the dog with an uncomfortable fit, not enough pant room, etc. The small price is definitely worth getting a good, comfortably fitting muzzle!
